Artist Statement
Payton Koranek is a ceramic artist born and raised in the coastal bend of Texas. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Texas A&M University— Corpus Christi in May 2017. Primarily trained as a ceramic artist, Koranek has expanded her repertoire to include fibers and print media, and her installations offer a completed vision and complex interplay between the individual pieces.
